New westminster, BC
New Westminster's vibrant Anvil Centre is a new 4-storey, 84,000 sq.ft. multi-use civic project designed to bring together community, arts, culture, and commerce all under one roof. Completed in August 2014, this iconic LEED Gold Certified complex includes 18,000 sq.ft. of conference space, meeting rooms, a 350-seat theatre, configurable multi-purpose rooms and studios, plus a civic art gallery and gift shop. It is also home to the City's Museum and Archives, a high-tech new media gallery, the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame, and a range of community-based programs, retail and public amenities.
Above the 4-storey civic podium is a contemporary 9-storey office tower comprising 137,000 sq.ft. of Class A office space and similarly designed to LEED Gold standards for energy efficiency and environmentally sustainable design
