The Galaxy Motors site includes two purpose-built dealership buildings that support automotive and recreational vehicle sales and servicing, each with distinct operational requirements and mechanical systems.
The car dealership was developed as a 28,000 sq. ft. facility combining showroom, office, and vehicle service functions. The service area includes eight service bays equipped with compressed air and exhaust capture systems, while customer-facing spaces required mechanical integration that remained out of sight within highly visible interiors. Variable refrigerant flow systems serve office areas on the first and second levels, providing flexible zoning and thermal comfort. Mechanical distribution within the showroom was coordinated to maintain a clean and open presentation while supporting day-to-day operations.
The RV dealership was developed as a 10,000 sq. ft. facility with sales offices, a double-height recreational vehicle display area, and five service bays. Mechanical systems include variable refrigerant flow systems for office and staff areas, along with compressed air and exhaust capture systems to support RV servicing. Mechanical routing within the double-height space was coordinated to limit visual impact and maintain architectural clarity.
AME provided mechanical design services for both buildings, coordinating with the architect and consultant team to address service bay requirements, office comfort, and system integration across the site. The mechanical systems support efficient operations and adaptable use over time for both automotive and recreational vehicle functions.
