Two AME projects win first place in the 2016 ASHRAE Technology Awards program

The University of Victoria’s LEED Gold targeted Centre for Athletics, Recreation and Special Abilities (CARSA) building was awarded a first place standing in the New Educational category and the University of British Columbia’s Academic District Energy System was awarded first place in the Existing Educational category. Innovation is a primary criterion on which submissions are judged and both projects will now go forward to the Society Level Technology Awards (January 2017).
