Sustainability
Through community cleanups, garden planting, office initiatives, and carbon reduction efforts, AME takes practical steps to reduce environmental impact and support the communities we are part of.
AME supports Canada’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. As part of this commitment, we have set a target to reduce our office carbon emissions by 5% year over year.
Just Certification
AME is proud to hold a Just Label through the International Living Future Institute. The Just program provides a transparent way to measure and share how organizations are performing in areas such as equity, diversity, employee health, benefits, stewardship, and community investment.

Ame Gives Back
Through AME Gives Back, our employees support charitable initiatives that matter to the communities where we live and work. This includes contributing time, resources, and hands-on support to social, environmental, and community-based causes throughout the year.
In 2025, AME donated more than $80,000 and contributed more than 570 volunteer hours through employee-led initiatives across the firm.
ḴEL,ḴELOŦEN ȻE S,ISTEW̱ Education Fund
The ḴEL,ḴELOŦEN ȻE S,ISTEW̱ Education Fund supports Indigenous students pursuing careers in architecture, engineering, and related design fields. The fund provides financial support and mentorship to help create stronger pathways into industries where Indigenous voices remain underrepresented.
AME is proud to support this initiative alongside partners across the construction industry. By helping more Indigenous students enter architecture and engineering, the fund supports greater representation, perspective, and knowledge within the built environment.
