The Andrew Sheret Building at 740 Hillside Avenue in Victoria, BC, has been awarded LEED Gold Certification.
The project is a modern 6-storey commercial facility (8 storeys from Market Street) comprising 50,000 sq.ft. of Class A office space, 16,000 sq.ft. of ground floor retail space, and underground parking for 126 vehicles. The $21 million building also features a common boardroom, an onsite daycare centre, food space, warehouse space, plus secure bicycle storage, a gym, and accompanying showers and change rooms for staff.
AME’s mechanical design helped achieve the maximum 10 credits for Water Efficiency and 8 credits for Energy Performance.
