Eric is a mechanical design engineer providing HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Suppression design. Prior to joining AME in 2014, Eric completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at BCIT (May 2014) and graduated with Distinction. He was also presented with the APEG BC Achievement Award for demonstrating great promise in mechanical engineering in the final undergraduate year.
During his time at BCIT, Eric worked on the development and fabrication of an energy recovery system at BCIT’s Centre of Energy Education and Research (CEER). His design was later approved, fabricated, and installed onto the boiler at CEER where it is currently being tested. Eric presented the project at the Polytechnics Canada Student Research Showcase in 2012 where he placed second in the competition.
Under the guidance of Principal Ahmet Ozata, Eric has taken on the responsibility of designing multiple tenant improvement projects in downtown Vancouver and has assisted and contributed to the design of a number of large-scale projects within the firm. Eric has a keen interest in green technology and sustainable design and his positive attitude and hard-working demeanor make him a valuable asset to AME.
