Moises is a Certified Energy Manger (CEM), graduated from the Masters in Engineering in Clean Energy at UBC, and completed the combined bachelor’s degree in Mechanical-Electrical Engineering.
He joined AME in 2016 as a Design Engineer where he has continued his career in the energy sector. In his current and previous role as Energy Project Engineer, he has been heavily involved in the completion of energy studies in commercial sites, the investigation and implementation of energy optimization projects for health care facilities and critical environments, as well as, the design and construction management of large retrofit projects at multi-residential buildings, data centers, and laboratories.
Moises has extensive experience in reviewing and optimizing Building Automation Systems (BAS). He has implemented a variety of sequence of operations strategies resulting in significant energy savings in office buildings and health care facilities. He has been involved in the design of health care facilities pursuing NET ZERO ENERGY certification. Moises has developed measurement and verification (M&V) plans for new and existing buildings.
Moises holds the license of Professional Engineer in British Columbia, is an ASHRAE member and LEED AP BD+C.
