PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

Located in Lax Kw’alaams, this 2-storey educational facility was built to replace the outdated 1955 school and was carefully designed to meet the needs of the community and support their focus on education and skills investment in youth.

With classroom space designed for 180 students from K-12, with the flexibility to expand in the future as the student population grows. The facility boasts a variety of learning areas, including home economics, industrial arts, and cultural activities.

In addition, it features central gathering spaces and quiet areas, fostering a sense of community and providing ample opportunities for social interaction. With its state-of-the-art kitchen and well-thought-out design, the school serves as a versatile venue for hosting large gatherings.

The mechanical system was designed with energy efficiency and sustainability in mind and working with natural daylight and views from the Architectural design.
