Project Details

An existing Locomotive Repair Shop located at the CP Rail Ogden Yards was converted into two floors of office space. The project includes a 20,000 sq.ft. cafeteria and kitchen addition.

Other specialized areas in the building include a fitness room and a 24-hour computer monitoring station. Air conditioning and ventilation is provided by an efficient variable volume type air handling system. Customized A/C units were integrated for the computer area in order to provide air conditioning and ventilation on a 24-hours basis. The mechanical systems are controlled and monitored by a direct digital building management system.

Designed and built on a fast-track basis, the building was occupied 15 months after the start of design.
