This mixed-use development comprises four concrete buildings: two residential condominium towers, and two residential rental towers above a shared four-level underground parkade. These towers share a double-height retail podium with a lobby and large commercial spaces that complement nearby streets such as King George Boulevard. Together, the buildings contain 1200+ residential units and approximately 13,000 sq. ft. of shared amenities.
AME provided mechanical design services, working closely with the client and design team to establish coordinated strategies across all building types. The project targets Step 2 of the BC Energy Step Code and connects to the City of Surrey’s District Energy System for space heating and domestic hot water.
Each building incorporates a hydronic HVAC system for both heating and cooling, designed in 3D using Revit. The shared parkade levels provide mechanical services to all four phases, supporting integration, constructability, and long-term performance.
