AME led a comprehensive fuel system upgrade at the Campbell River Airport. The scope included expanding the existing Jet A-1 fuel storage system, installing a new fleet fuel storage and dispensing system on the airside, and designing a jet fuel dispensing system with cardlock functionality.
Phase 1 delivered 90% construction documents along with a Class B cost estimate. The team also prepared and submitted a successful grant application for the BC Air Access Program (BCAAP).
As Prime Consultant, AME coordinated a multidisciplinary team including structural, electrical, civil, environmental, cost consulting, and traffic management specialists. The approach emphasized clear communication and effective coordination across the project partners.
