AME served as commissioning authority for the Cowichan Bay Fire Hall, overseeing verification and functional performance of key building systems. The scope included HVAC, lighting, diesel fire pump systems with storage tanks, well-supplied potable water systems, and fire suppression systems.
Commissioning activities included start-up witnessing, pre-functional and functional checklists, systems testing, and review of controls, sequencing, and graphics. Through coordination with the general contractor and subcontractors, AME supported issue resolution and verified that systems were operational and performing as intended.
