FlyOver Canada Toronto advanced through the design phase for an immersive 4D attraction housed within a purpose-built black gaming dome and theatre. The design addressed the integration of mechanical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems within a six-metre-high domed environment while supporting experiential effects such as wind, mist, and temperature variation, all within a highly controlled indoor setting.
AME provided mechanical, plumbing, and fire suppression design through the tender phase, coordinating closely with the architect, code consultant, and experience technology teams. The mechanical approach incorporated low-velocity ventilation and concealed equipment to maintain architectural clarity and support the attraction experience. The project was placed on hold indefinitely following completion of tender and did not proceed to construction.
