AME teamed with Chandos Construction and Sahuri + Partners Architecture Inc. on the design build project that saw the renovation and expansion of the JBS Canada Centre, formerly the Lakeside Leisure Centre, located in Brooks, AB.
The facility includes an aquatic centre with waterslide and wave pool (designed by AME Principals in 2004), a curling rink, arena, fitness studios, daycare, offices and ancillary spaces.
The 55,000 sq.ft. new addition comprises a 2-storey Brooks Public library, a large multi-purpose field house, a viewing area, taekwondo fitness studio, change rooms, multi-purpose and meeting rooms, plus a commercial kitchen and ancillary spaces.
