Kanas Corporation are in the process of developing a four tower low income rental multi-family residential development in Calgary. AME was engaged by Kanas after buildings A and B were complete on site to rectify ongoing concerns with the mechanical systems with specific reference to the design and commissioning of the Cogen system.
With Towers A and B complete and occupied, AME completed a full peer review of Building B and provided some cost-effective measures to optimize the mechanical systems and reduce operating costs. We were also engaged to provide complete design for Cogen heat utilization through the three towers B, C and D.
AME completed the design of Towers C and D with both towers now occupied. Tower C is a 8,720 sq.ft.,16-storey tower with multiple levels of underground parking and Tower D is 18 storeys and approximately 7,300 sq.ft.
