The water feature at the Okotoks Arts and Learning Campus (ALC) was designed as a vibrant outdoor
gathering space that supports community events, arts programming, and seasonal play. Connected to
Ethel Tucker Park and the surrounding pathway network, the plaza features interactive ground sprays,
stainless steel water elements, and integrated LED lighting, creating a flexible space that functions as
both a splash pad and a community hub.
AME provided mechanical design services for the water feature, including the recirculating water
management system that collects, filters, treats, disinfects, and returns water to the splash pad. The
plaza supports farmers’ markets, art displays, community events, and family recreation within one flexible
outdoor space.
