Project Details

RainCity Housing Society’s LEED Gold Certified shelter and transitional housing facility, located at 3030 Gordon Avenue in Coquitlam, is a purpose-built 4-storey mid-rise development for the vulnerable homeless and contains 30 short-stay shelter beds and 30 self-contained transitional units.

Residents have access to medication, community health and wellness support from Fraser Health, and regular meetings with staff for counseling, life skills development and connections to services.

Other amenities at this modern facility include; a tranquil garden space, a barbecue area, storage for carts, lounges and learning spaces for counselling and skill development programs, as well as a commercial-grade kitchen, a dining area and laundry facilities.
