AME was retained for the design and construction of Riverwalk Seniors living facility within the City of Calgary. The residential facility includes 12 floors, with a total of 141 suites. The suites include Independent Supported Living, Assisted Living and Dementia/Memory care. The facility includes amenity support spaces, such commercial kitchen, dining room, a pub/bistro, a library, chapel, fitness spaces and multipurpose rooms.
Riverwalk is designed to enable seniors to live independently while providing support as their needs change or grow. Vertical bore geothermal systems and high efficiency system designed by AME were instrumental in achieving the client’s sustainability target.
Dedicated Ventilation and Humidity Control in each suite optimizes comfort in addition to enhanced Mechanical Systems for B2 Occupancy.
Through successful quality control procedures, AME achieved a project that was on time and on budget, while exceeding the clients goals overall and for sustainability.
