Project Details

The new facility, funded by the Province and the Thompson regional Hospital District, includes expanded and enhanced space for outpatient services such as laboratory services, community respiratory therapy, pre-surgical screening, cardiology, neuro-diagnostics and a vascular improvement program.

Featuring a new Emergency Department, Medical Imaging Department additions and renovations, Magnetic Resonant Imaging (MRI) component and renovations to the pharmacy, cardiovascular, orthopedics, admitting, switch board, administration and nuclear medicine departments. It also incorporates a clinical education teaching space for the UBC Medical School program, 6,500 sq.ft. of ground-floor commercial and retail space, and a 4-storey parkade with 350 stalls.
