Project Details

The new state-of-the-art, high-performance indoor Baseball Training Centre at UBC’s Thunderbird Park provides a year-round practice facility and performance institute for players ranging from 8 years old to professional-level adults.

The 13,000 sq.ft. high-performance facility features four full-size batting cages, three pitching mounds and a high-tech camera system to monitor bat speed, pitching physics and more. Other amenities include washrooms, change rooms, coach and staff offices, functional training spaces and a viewing deck for watching games on the adjacent UBC Varsity Baseball field.
