PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

Following on from the Project Development Report (PDR), AME worked with HCMA on this replacement project as part of the Major Capital Project for seismic upgrades in BC schools.

The new $22.4-million school was built on a new footprint within the existing property allowing the students to remain at their school during construction; however, required careful coordination of logistics for the project team.

With a mass timber structure, the two-storey building is arranged into four quadrants around a central double-height atrium.  This pod-like configuration creates open and accessible learning spaces to encourage collaboration and interaction between its 340 students.
